The day has finally arrived! Our bags are packed and we're ready to go 😉 ... well, our boxes anyway. I'm writing this quick blog post in the middle of our journey to thank all of you! Thank you for partnering with us in this ministry. Thank you for sending us to serve the Lord by sharing His love in word and in deed with the children of Cebu. We are blessed, honored, and humbled to be doing this with you, and once we're on the ground we will report back regularly so that you can continue praying with us for the kids of Cebu.
The past six weeks were filled with wonderful visits to churches and individuals, some who were hearing about the Children's Shelter of Cebu for the first time, and others who have been supporters for decades. Once we land in Cebu, we will share some wonderful stories (and pictures, of course) of how God used this time to prepare us for serving Him on the other side of the planet. Right now, we're uploading this from Seoul, South Korea, searching for coffee, tea, and doughnuts.
In the meantime, thank you! May the Lord bless you and keep you, empowering you to serve Him for the sake of the Gospel and the furtherance of His kingdom. May He empower us all as we serve Him in the places and capacities that He has ordained, and in so doing, being the church body He designed us to be.
